Nine years ago, long before Poshinary was “born”, I had the honor and privilege to design the wedding program for my childhood best friend, Andrea. At the time, I was managing a marketing team for a real estate company and had just started teaching myself design software. I was so excited to work on this project, and it launched me into the exciting world of design, print and paper.
Andrea and Shannon were having a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Junior League in Memphis, Tennessee. Her colors were a stunning combination of Fuchsia and Black, and she wanted to incorporate an elegant monogram she was having projected onto the walkway. She really gave me creative freedom on this project, which made this wedding program extra special.
I think the end result beautifully complimented the elegance of the day and helped to tie-in all the hard planning she had done to make her day so special. The beauty of her day was captured by her amazing photographer Kim Miller at Ramblin’ Rose Photography in Memphis, and I am so glad that I have such a wonderful image to capture what was the beginning of my best friend’s new journey…and the beginning of Poshinary!
